Parental controls on streaming services
How to set up kid profiles, PINs and content ratings across popular streaming platforms.

Most streaming services support separate profiles, and many offer a dedicated kids profile that limits content to age-appropriate ratings.
Add a PIN to adult profiles so younger viewers can't simply switch over. Live TV services often have a separate setting to restrict live channels by TV rating.
Set restrictions at the device level too. Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV and Google TV all have their own PIN controls for purchases and app installs.
Free FAST services vary widely here. Some have kids modes, while others show everything in one guide, so check before handing over the remote.
Review settings after app updates. Changes occasionally reset preferences.
