Independent IPTV service reviews

Methodology

How we test IPTV services

Same hardware, same network, same measurements for every provider — and we publish the numbers.

Step 1

72-hour stability run

Every service streams continuously for three days across a mix of HD and UHD channels while we log dropouts and measure the buffer rate as a percentage of total playback time.

Step 2

Channel-list verification

We sample at least 40 advertised channels and check they exist, play, and match the EPG. Padded channel counts are called out in the review.

Step 3

Zap latency timing

Channel-change speed is timed over 50 switches on the same hardware for every provider, so the numbers are directly comparable.

Step 4

Bitrate and resolution checks

Anything labelled 4K is inspected for actual resolution and bitrate. Upscaled 1080p does not count as 4K in our scoring.

Step 5

Support and billing

We open a support ticket on every service and time the response. We also test the cancellation path before publishing.

Step 6

Monthly re-tests

Each service is re-checked monthly and the result is logged publicly on its review page, so you can see whether quality is trending up or down.

Removal policy

If a service starts refusing refunds, silently drops paid channels, or resells another provider's feed without saying so, we unpublish its review and note the reason in our weekly roundup. No provider can pay to stay listed, and no provider can pay to have a poor score revised.
